My corporate strategy professor used to make me chant “I love profits,” perhaps as a form of therapy. I thought the pursuit of profits caused social inequity and environmental destruction. Now I love profits because I’ve experienced how they can increase economic equity and help reverse environmental damage (companies also aren’t sustainable without them). I’m passionate about improving mission-driven profits for companies by designing and implementing projects with quick, positive ROI. Projects that improve profit and health for people and planet are like bridges that close gaps between current and desired business states.
